Crayons or Markers?

Crayons are a great tool for developing tactile and proprioceptive (muscle and joint) skills.
Crayons encourage us to use fine motor muscles in our hands and fingers to bear down firmly in order to produce color.
Crayons also allow us the opportunity to decide whether to produce dark or light color tomes.  Markers don't have these advantages.
